Manifold
Introduction
This procedure describes the process for replacing a manifold.
NOTE: This replacement manifold is intended for use with newer valve boards.
Do not attempt to replace the manifold on an original configuration “valve board /
manifold assembly”. The valve board / manifold assembly must be replaced with
the new separate valve board assembly and manifold.
CAUTION: Wear suitable protection gear during this procedure.

Removing the
old manifold
Follow these instructions when removing a manifold.
Step Action
1.
Remove the lower module.
2.
Disconnect the manifold Cal1 and Cal2 port tubing from the adapters
on the valves of the valve board.
3.
Disconnect the manifold waste tubing from the bulkhead connector on
the printer chassis.
4.
Remove all screws holding the old manifold.
