Lower Module
Printer Door
Introduction
This procedure describes the process for removing the printer door from the lower
module of the ABL77 analyzer.
Removing the
printer door
Follow these steps to remove the printer door from the lower module as shown in
Figure 5-6.
Step Action
1.
Open the printer door. Remove the paper roll if necessary. Using
needle nose pliers, disconnect the extension spring from the anchor in
the printer door.
2.
Using a flathead screwdriver, slide the retaining ring (e-clip) off the
notch protruding from the door hinge on the left side of the printer
chassis.
3.
Slide a flathead screwdriver underneath the door hinge and gently lift
the hinge off the three notches of the printer chassis.
4.
Pull the door away from the lower module by sliding it out of the
notches in the printer chassis.
