ABL77 Service Manual Chapter 4: Test and Calibration Procedures
Inlet Flap Sensor
Introduction
This procedure is used for verifying proper performance of the inlet flap sensor
(opto-sensor).
Verify inlet flap
sensor
Follow the steps below to verify proper performance of the inlet flap sensor.
Step Action
1.
Select Options from the Main Menu
Enter a Password that will allow access to the Hardware screen.
Access to this screen requires a password. If a user password is not
available, the generic MK592 may be used.
NOTE: This password is for Radiometer use only. Do not share this
password with customers.
Select Hardware from the Options menu.
RESULT: The following screen will appear.
2.
Place a sensor cassette on the analyzer.
3.
Open the inlet flap on the sensor cassette and verify that the Door
indicator on the Hardware screen reads 1.
4.
Close the inlet flap and verify that the Door indicator reads 0.
5.
If these readings are not observed:
Replace the opto sensor cable (REF: 902-684). This part includes
the opto sensor and attached cabling.
If the analyzer still fails to give the proper results, the valve board
should be replaced.
