Electronics Shelf
Introduction
Follow these steps to install the electronics shelf as shown in Figure 7-27.
NOTE:
Keep all cables away from the fan.
Step Action
1.
Tuck the power switch cable down between the battery control board
and the battery cage.
2.
Route the 8-pin CPU power cable across the battery control board to
the back left corner of the rear panel.
3.
Route the 6-pin analog board power cable along the battery control
board to the back right corner of the rear panel.
4.
Route the 3-pin touch screen controller cable along the side of the
battery control board out the front of the rear panel.
5.
Connect the fan cable to J8 on the battery control board.
6.
Hold the shelf so the board guides are facing up and the standoffs are
on the right.
NOTE: Make sure cables are not sitting on top of the battery cage
and that the bar code cable, analog board cable and CPU power
cable remain above the shelf once the shelf is installed.
7.
Slide the electronics shelf into the rear panel assembly ensuring that
cables are not pinched.
8.
Connect the electronics shelf to the electronics bracket with two
screws on each side through the bottom rear-most holes.
