LCD Display Cable
CAUTION: The cable connectors are very delicate and easily damaged. Use
caution when installing this cable into the LCD adapter board connector. Do Not
tug on the cable after it is installed as the cable may pull free of the connector.

Follow these steps to replace the LCD display cable. The new design LCD display
cable includes the upper module connector as a part of the cable. Refer to
Figure 6-22.
Step Action
1.
Remove the electronics module. One end of the LCD display cable
will be disconnected when the upper module is removed.
2.
Remove the analog board.
3.
Disconnect the cable clamp from the right-hand board guide.
4.
On the far right edge of the LCD adapter board is a tan or dark brown
colored cable connector. Flip the locking mechanism on the connector
up.
5.
Disconnect the old LCD display cable from the LCD adapter board.
