Power Distribution Board
Introduction
Follow these steps to install the power distribution board as shown in Figure 7-31.
Step Action
1.
Connect the analog power cable to J2 and the power board cable to J5
of the power distribution board.
NOTE: Each cable is keyed for proper connection. Also, the ends of
the cables have identical wiring connections, so either end can be
installed.
2.
Route the analog power cable under the power distribution board and
the COM1 connector on the rear panel.
3.
Insert a #4-40 x 1.5” screw in each hole of the power distribution
board from the non-connector side of the board, then through one
black nylon spacer for each screw.
4.
Install the power distribution board onto the CPU board by inserting
the header leads onto the CPU receptacle, push down firmly until the
connectors are securely engaged then tighten the screws.
5.
Plug the analog power cable from the power distribution board into J6
on the analog board.
6.
Assure all cables lie flat on top of the CPU.
