IPU error (M2P error)
M2P error occurs if the image transfer from the controller board to the IPU board is
delayed, that causes the image problems (horizontal streaks, fainter, etc.)
 Noise
 Connector not set properly
 IPU defect
Check if the SC occurs by turning the power OFF then ON. If the SC occurs again,
do the following steps. Check if the SC reoccurs by cycling the power after each
step.
1. Reconnect the following connectors:
 IPU/BCU - controller board harness connector
2. Replace the IPU board.
3. Replace the BCU board.
4. Replace the controller board

IPU error (DRAM initial error)
This error is detected if execution of DDR-PHY initialization and Training status
fails to be confirmed within the specified period (5 ms) on the initialization control
flow that is performed in the ASIC (Macaron) of the IPU at power-ON or recovery
from energy-saving mode.
This can be caused by a failure in the Macaron or DRAM device itself, improper
mounting to the IPU board, or poor connection between the boards (the connector
or harness).
 IPU board defective (e.g. poor connection of the Macaron/DRAM device)
 DRAM devise defective
Check if the SC occurs by turning the power OFF then ON. If the SC occurs again,
do the following steps. Check if the SC reoccurs by cycling the power after each
step.
1. Reconnect the following connectors:
 All connectors related to the scanner
2. Replace the IPU board.
3. Replace the BCU board.
