Surname
Surname of the patient.
First name
First name of the patient.
Time
Time of patient registration. This time is either transmitted by the host or the system enters
the current time.
Example: 075701 = HHMMSS (H = hour, M = minute, S = second)
Sex
Gender of the patient.
Date of birth
The patient's date of birth.
Example: 19750120 = YYYYMMDD (Y = year, M = month, D = day)
Tests
The tests are examination abbreviations as sent by the host. Based on these abbreviations, the
corresponding process policies will be assigned to the sample. After processing, the tests are
flagged using two individual characters. This flag is shown to the left of the correspondent
test's abbreviation.
The flag's first character is taken from the ASTM 'Action Code' field of the test order record.
The most common action codes are depicted in the table below:
Append the requested test to the existing ones.
New requests are added, existing ones are overwritten.
Cancel request and delete from Roche PVT order database.
The second character of the flag represents the number of the rack whereto the sample has
been sorted. This rack number correlates to the order of the racks contained within the work
cycle's configuration, which is represented by the digits "0" to "9", then "a" to "z", followed by
the characters "[", "/", "]", "^", and "_" (41 positions in total).
As long as the sample has not been sorted, the flag's second digit remains empty.
