Environment
Uncontrolled temperature: Do not leave this equipment in an uncontrolled environment
where the temperature is below below –20°C (-4°F) or above 40°C (104°F). It may damage
the equipment.
Heat & Moisture sources: Do not install the equipment near a heat source or near a
source of moisture. It may damage the equipment.
Take care that objects do not fall and liquids are not spilled into the product chassis through
any openings.
Altitude: Do not use at an altitude exceeding 2000m.
Tropical conditions: This product is not suitable for tropical conditions.
ESD protective measures
Electrostatic discharge can damage the electronic components within the system.
Only personnel with knowledge of ESD protective measures may modify the system:
Touch a grounded object to discharge any static in your body.
When performing the work, make sure that the workspace is free of static, and wear
an ESD wrist strap.
If not used, ensure that the device is protected from electrostatic discharge, e.g., by
storing it in its packaging.
Warranty
Do not open: The chassis operates as a ‘black box’. To avoid warranty issue, it must not be
opened.
Liability: SAFRAN DATA SYSTEMS assumes no liability if the equipment has been opened
by anyone other than a SAFRAN DATA SYTEMS employee. Any maintenance must be
performed by a qualified person of SAFRAN DATA SYSTEMS (a factory return is required).
