Remove the cylinder head

can use a plastic hammer to tap the cylinder head
lightly to loosen the cylinder head for easy removal.

Remove the cylinder head gasket

Cylinder head inspection
◆
Thoroughly clean the cylinder head gasket material
and carbon deposit marks on the bottom surface of
the cylinder head.
Check the cylinder head deformation

Keep the bottom surface of the cylinder head clean.
◆
Place a ruler

on the bottom surface of the
cylinder head.
◆
Use a feeler gauge to measure the distance
between the ruler
【
F
】
and the diff erent positions
of the cylinder head.
Cylinder head deformation limit: 0.1 mm (0.0039"). If the
cylinder head deformation exceeds the limit, replace the
cylinder head.
