Select the desired measurement (for example, Near wall 180) and press
<ENTER>.
9. Position the cursor using the Trackball and press <ENTER> to start the trace
(see “About Construction Methods” on page 7-4 for details on different trace
methods).
10. Complete the first border trace and double click <ENTER>. The second cur-
sor is displayed.
11. Position the cursor using the Trackball and press <ENTER>.
12. Double click <ENTER> to end the trace.
13. To accept the measurement click [OK], to erase the measurement and exit
click [
CANCEL], or to re-start the measurement click [CLEAR].
NOTE See “About Default Sites for Vascular” on page 7-5 for information on
how to customize the sites under IMT.
Turning the IMT Grid ON and OFF
The IMT grid is used as an anatomical marker and overlays the image. During
an IMT exam the grid can be turned
ON or OFF. To change the grid setting, fol-
low these steps:
1. Press TOOLS.
2. Click [GRID].
Repeat steps 1 and 2 to toggle the grid
ON or OFF.
Using the IMT On-screen Labels
On-screen labels are used to identify the view (for example, R CCA NW). In 2D
scanning when the IMT options are installed and the IMT protocol is active, the
Protocol Soft Window knob is used to display labels for the Site and Angle
(Angle corresponds to an arc angle device).
To add labels during an IMT exam, follow these steps:
1. Turn the Protocol Soft Window knob to scroll through the screen labels for
IMT until the desired label is displayed.
