This chapter describes how to scan, view, and save images. It describes spe-
cific controls for each of the following scanning states:
îš„ 2D
îš„ Color Flow
îš„ Continuous Wave Doppler (CW)
îš„ Pulsed Wave Doppler (PW)
îš„ M-Mode
Controls used to complete scans and save images include:
îš„ The time/gain compensation (TGC) controls
îš„ The Main knob (changes for each scan mode)
îš„ Soft windows (change for each scan mode)
îš„ The Tools buttons (how they work for each scan mode)
