Technical data – brake control
(only with order end number ...AA3)
Caution
The brake control and motor control are run through a shared cable. When the
motor is switched off, non-permitted high induction voltages can arise; these
overcouple in the motor cable to the brake control and can thus lead to interfer-
ence in electrical components in the starter.
Brake motors that are controlled via ...AA3 starters should therefore as a gen-
eral principle be equipped with screening units (e.g. RC combinations) for the
main circuit (exception: electronic starters may not be operated with an EMC
protective circuit).
