10.11 Self-test
Description
There are 2 types of self-test:
• Cyclical self-test during operation
Run cyclically during operation
• Self-test on command
Activated by the user via bit DO 0.5 'Self-test' in the process image of the
outputs.
Test steps
The self-test consists of 3 test steps. The test steps are run depending on the
signal duration of the test command:

1 < 2 sec. LED test All LEDs are switched on for 2 seconds!
• Check by user, no signaling bit.
2 2 ... 5 secs. HW test The hardware of the motor starter is tested;
current measurement with display by LED
'DEVICE':
• Power flowing: current flashing
• Current not flowing:red flickering
• Check by user, no signaling bit.
> 5 secs. No action —
