2.5 Cabling and connecting
Perform the following steps:
1.
Caution
Make sure that the entire configuration has adequate short circuit and overload
protection.
2. Wire up the ET 200pro as shown in Figure 2-3. Only the external cables
shown in bold are still to be connected. These are:
– AC 400 V and PE (supply voltage) to connection X1 of the maintenance
isolating module
– Consumer units (motors) to connection X2 of the motor starter
– Power jumper between connection X3 of the maintenance switch and
connection X1 of the motor starter
– The two switches for ON (make contact) and OFF (break contact) on
the electronics module 8 DI DC 24 V
3. Close off connection X2 of the maintenance isolating module with a sealing
cap
4. Close off
connection X3 of the motor starter with a sealing cap
5. Use the PROFIBUS bus connection cable to connect the DP master to the
ET 200pro. The PROFIBUS DP interface is located on the
IM 154-. DP high feature.
6. Switch on the voltage supply for the DP master.
7. Observe the status LEDs on the DP master.
CPU 315-2 DP:
- DC 5 V green
- SF DP off
- BUSF flashes red
