10.12 Emergency start
Description
'Emergency start' enables a recovery despite an internal switch-off command.
Emergency start is possible if
• 'SWITCH-ON command' for the motor is present. The motor is switched on
even if the cause of the trip is still present.
• 'SWITCH-ON command' for the brake output is set. This is switched on by
the emergency start (parameter 'Brake release delay on starting' is taken into
account).
Emergency start is not possible if
• the 'SWITCH-OFF command' is present
• 'Device error' has occurred
Signaling bit:'Self-test error', 'Switching element defective'
• the self-protection mechanism of the motor starter has been activated
signaling bit: ’Switching element overload’
• the switched/non-switched supply voltage DC 24 V-S / DC 24 V-NS is missing
signaling bit:'Supply voltage switching element missing',
'Electronics supply voltage too low'
• the blocking protection has been activated
signaling bit: ’Motor block tripping’
• process image error present
signaling bit: ’Process image error’
