9.1 Rules for wiring
Warning
Dangerous electrical voltage! Can lead to electrical shocks and burns. Before
starting work, disconnect the system from the power supply.
9.1.1 Selecting the power cables
The wire cross-section of the power cables must be adapted to the relevant
ambient conditions. The most important factors for the wire cross-section are:
the set current at the device,
the type of cable routing,
the ambient temperature,
the material type (PVC, rubber).
For PVC power cables, e.g. when routed in the cable duct, depending on the
ambient temperature, the following maximum current-carrying capacity results:
On wiring, observe the following rules:
9.1.2 Unused connections
Close off unused connections with sealing caps; this is the only way to ensure
type of protection IP65, order number 3RK1902-0CJ00 (10 units) or 3RK1902-
