9.2.4 Mounting and wiring the power plug connector
Mount and wire the power plug connector according to the following
specifications:
Step Procedure
1 Route the cable through the cable gland, the matching enclosed seal insert
and the plug case.
The seal insert is available in the following grades:
Permitted outer diameter of the cable Seal insert
7.0 to 10.5 mm
9.0 to 13.0 mm
11.5 to 15.5 mm

Insulate the cable to a length of 20 mm.

Insulate the wires to a length of 8 mm.
4 Secure the contact sockets / contact pins to the wires by crimping with a
suitable tool (see Chapter A.2) or solder them.
5 Sort the contact sockets / contact pins in the socket insert / pin insert
according to the assignments as shown in Chapter 9.2.2 and Chapter
9.2.3. The contact sockets / contact pins should not snap into place yet.
Check the correct assignment. Push the contact sockets / contact pins into
the socket insert / pin insert until the snap into place.
Already mounted contact sockets / contact pins can be removed using a
dismounting tool (see Chapter A.2).
6 Ensure the coding is in the right position. Pull the cables back and use the
enclosed Philips screws to firmly screw the socket insert / pin insert into
the plug case.
7 Screw the cable gland down firmly. Make sure that the cable is not twisted
against the plug case.
