Present motor current
The maximum current in the motor starter is returned via the process image for
evaluations.
The current is measured in all 3 phases and the highest value is determined.
The returned 6-bit value indicates the motor current ratio I
pres
/ I
rated
(I
rated
=
parameterized rated operating current).
The value is shown with one position in front of the decimal point (DI 1.5) and
five positions after the decimal point (DI 1.0 to DI 1.4). This means that the max-
imum ratio for I
pres
/ I
rated
is the value 1.96875 (approx. 197%).
The resolution is 1/32 per bit (3.125%).

Response to 'Supply voltage switching element missing'
You use this parameter to configure which signal the motor starter is to issue if
the supply voltage (2L+) fails.
• Group error
• General fault only with On command
• General warning
Load type
You use this parameter to specify whether you want the motor starter to protect
a 1-phase or 3-phase consumer unit.
• With 1-phase load, asymmetry detection is deactivated!
The 1-phase load can be connected between any two phases for all motor
starters that switch mechanically.
• With 3-phase load, asymmetry detection is activated. The three phase cur-
rents are compared.
