3.9 Removing motor starters
One motor starter can be removed from the rear wall bus module during opera-
tion. The feeder must be without current, e.g. maintenance switch switched off.
Remove the cable to the motor as well as the two power jumpers on the left
and right from the motor starter to be replaced. To do so, press the locking lever
on the connectors downwards. Undo the 3 Philips screws as shown in the fol-
lowing diagram and take the motor starter off the rear wall bus module.
Caution
If more than one module is removed from the ET 200pro, the station goes to
STOP.
The following table uses a direct starter as an example to describe how motor
starters are removed.

1 Make sure that the 400 V supply
is switched off (e.g. at the main-
tenance switch).
If required, you can secure the
maintenance switch against reac-
tivation by means of a bracket
lock.

Unscrew the connections for the
M12 cables.
Disengage the connectors or cov-
ers of X1 to X3.
Pull off the connectors and cov-
ers.
