System diagnosis (see also manual 'ET 200pro decentralized peripheral device')
In ET 200pro devices with diagnostic capability, device-specific diagnoses are
recorded via allocated PROFIBUS error numbers. The error numbers in each
case are sent to the ET 200pro interface module IM 154-.
The system diagnosis indicates whether there is a channel error. It also speci-
fies whether other channel-related information is present.
In the diagnosis data record (see manual "Decentralized peripheral device
ET 200pro"), the channel-related diagnosis starts as of byte 19.
For each channel-related diagnosis, 3 bytes are inserted. The corresponding DP
error number (= error type) is inserted in binary code in the 3rd byte in each
case at the bit positions 0 ... 4.
The stored values are extracted by the starter from the diagnoses recorded in
data record 92. As there are insufficient uniquely defined DP error numbers
available for the starter, various DS92 diagnoses must be shown on one and the
same error number (= multiple assignment; see table).
