In the following example any activated initiating device in the East Wing (e.g.,
smoke detectors and pull stations) energizes the signals (e.g., horns) in
the East Wing only. Initiating devices in the Corridor energize the signals in the
corridor only, and so on. Signals will sound steady until silenced by the alarm
silence key.
1. Edit a NAC/Relay card and assign NAC circuits as Signal points (see the
Edit Card, Modify I/O Card Devices section of this publication).
2. Change the point type (see the Edit Points, Edit Point Type section of this
publication).
3. Change the custom label of the point (see the Edit Points, Edit Point
Label section of this publication).
4. Add the signal to the "Control Points, OFF with Silence" List 31-06 (see
the Lists, Add Points to a List section of this publication).
5. Add the following SMPL equations (see the To Start SMPL Programming
section of this publication):
