8 Clean the spindle. A. Select Servo Focus
Maintain check box.
B. Use the SFU buttons
to move the lens
holder to different
positions, see Fig. 6-
2 on page 6-4 .
C. Use a brush with Iso-
Propanol, to clean the
spindle during
movement from
infinite to close
position.
9 Lubricate the spindle. A. Lubricate the spindle
carefully with a small
amount of Grease
BEM 34-32.
B. Run the lens several
times between the
end positions and
remove excess grease
at the end positions.
Use a hard brush or
stick.

10 Terminate
maintenance
A. Exit the program.
B. Remount the spindle
cover and TSF board.
C. Unplug the cables
and the lens protect
cover.
