AUTOPM (Auto-Upload PM)
This keyword inhibits or allows automatic display of performance data for a
particular input channel. The data to be displayed is determined by the setting of
the PM property of the performance monitoring measurements (e.g., MRTIE, TDEV,
LMRTIE, FFOFF, SPRD, TIE). The primary purpose of this keyword is to disable all
automatic measurement displays from a channel without turning off the PM
property on each indicated measurement. The keyword format is:
AUTOPM=<value>
Performance monitoring data will be displayed automatically only if the following
parameters have been set:
• AUTOPM has been set to Y for the desired input channel.
• The PM property has been set to Y for the desired <montype> and input
channel.
If requesting more data to be displayed than the communications channels can
handle, some reports may be lost. This problem is most likely to occur if data is
displayed at 1 second intervals.
To avoid this problem, display 1 second LMRTIE data at 1 minute or 15 minute
intervals, rather than every second. For measurements, enabling automatic
reporting of the 1 minute or 15 minute LMRTIE and MRTIE values also will cause
the 1 second or 1 minute values to be reported along with the 15 minute values,
even though 1 second data is not explicitly enabled for automatic reporting. If the
reporting of the 1 second data is enabled, it will be displayed every second (except
for MRTIE which is only calculated at 15 minute intervals).
