PORTAOX (Event Reporting Port Number–Auxiliary Memory)
This keyword sets the port number for automatic event reporting in auxiliary
memory. Auxiliary memory contains a backup copy of network parameters in
working memory (working memory controls the actual operation of the network).
Note:
If the Automatic Output Merge function is disabled (AOMERGE=N),
responses and commands will be carried on a separate port from automatic events.
If the Automatic Output Merge function is enabled (AOMERGE=Y), events will be
carried on the Command/Response Reporting (PORTCDMS) port.
• Setting AOMERGE= Y does not stop events from being reported to the AO
port. In this case events are reported to the port specified by PORTAO as
well as the command port.
The keyword format is:
PORTAOX=<value>
Command Example:
RTRV-EQPT:::SC1088:::PARAMETER=PORTAOX;
Response Example:
SYMMBITS 00-06-18 12:01:11
M SC1088 COMPLD
"IMC::PORTA0X = 7589"
;
Parameter Value Description
<value> 5001 to 20000 Auxiliary memory port number for automatic event
reporting
