Time Interval Error
This measurement is displayed in ns and measures an input port’s Time Interval
Error (TIE) over specific observation time intervals. TIE is based on the net phase
deviation over an interval of time. It is calculated by taking the phase deviation of
the final sample in a block of data and subtracting the phase deviation of the final
sample in the previous block of data.
LMRTIE values from 1 second to 24 hour observation times are available every
15 minutes. The 1 second data is available after 1 second and is updated each
second.
For example, a 1 minute TIE measurement is the difference in the phase deviation
between two samples 1 minute apart. Similarly, a 1 second TIE measurement is
the difference between phase deviation samples captured 1 second apart.
The command format is:
RTRV-PM[-TSG]:[<tid>]:CLK-a:<ctag>::TIE;
Response Format:
<sid> <date> <time>
M <ctag> COMPLD
"CLK a-b:TIE-a,<monval>,<status>"...
;
Parameter Value Description
CLK-a a = 0 to 4 Input port number of active clock card 555xx-01 (5 input)
