Edit User Security
This command changes the user name, access level, or password. The command
format is:
ED-USER-SECU:[<tid>]:<aid>:<ctag>::<newuid>,<newpid>
,,<uap>;
Command Example:
ED-USER-SECU::FRED:SC001::FREDJR,TANK.1,,USER;
The command in this example changes the password and user name of FRED to
FREDJR with a new password of TANK.1.
Note:
If the new user name, password, or access level is omitted, it will be left
unchanged.
Parameter Value Description
<aid> Existing user name Old user name
<newuid> Up to ten case-insensitive alphanumeric characters New user name
<newpid> Up to ten case-sensitive characters. Must include at least
two non-alphabetic characters, and must include at least
one special character: any printing character other than a
letter of the alphabet, a number, a comma, a colon, or a
semicolon.
