15. PLANNED MAINTENANCE
To keep the equipment perfectly ecient, planned maintenance work must be periodically per-
formed to prevent possible problems.
The operations can be divided according to the type of work and to the sta who must do it:
ROUTINE maintenance to be performed
during preventive maintenance operations.
MAJOR maintenance
The ROUTINE maintenance operations: can be
performed by the owner of the equipment and
do not require any particular technical exper-
tise; they are simple operations carried out accord-
ing to good hygiene practices.
ROUTINE maintenance operations must also
be carried out by Technogym technicians during
planned maintenance visits.

The MAJOR maintenance operations: must only
be carried out by a -
equipment;authorisedtocarryoutnetuning
of the equipment, maintenance and repair work,
checking of operation and wear of the mechanical
parts in order to ensure perfect and safe operation
of the equipment.

ROUTINE MAINTENANCE:
No technical specialisation required.
MAJOR MAINTENANCE
authorised by Technogym and in accordance
with the maintenance envisaged in the pre-
ventive maintenance contract.
