7.4.4 Excavator warning messages
Message Problem Solution
Check Boom Sensor The system cannot communicate
with the boom position sensor, or
the sensor is out of operating
range.
Ask your site supervisor to check the configured
orientation of the boom sensor and the reported value of
the boom angle in the Calibrate Sensors — AS45x
Sensor Orientations dialog.
If required, reconfigure the sensor orientation and then
recalibrate the sensors.
Check the sensor and cable for damage.
Check Bucket
Linkage and Arm
Measurements
The arm or linkage measurements
are inconsistent with the
measured cylinder extensions.
Ask your site supervisor to check the arm and bucket
linkage measurements.
Check Bucket Sensor The system cannot communicate
with the bucket position sensor, or
the sensor is out of operating
range.
Ask your site supervisor to check the configured
orientation of the bucket sensor and the reported value of
the bucket angle in the Calibrate Sensors — AS45x
Sensor Orientations dialog.
If required, reconfigure the sensor orientation and then
recalibrate the sensors.
Check the sensor and cable for damage.
Check Bucket Tilt
Sensor
The system cannot communicate
with the bucket tilt sensor.
Check the sensor and cable for damage.
Check Pitch Sensor The system cannot communicate
with the body pitch sensor.
Check the sensor and cable for damage.
Check Stick Sensor The system cannot communicate
with the stick position sensor, or
the sensor is out of operating
range.
Ask your site supervisor to check the configured
orientation of the stick sensor and the reported value of the
stick angle in the Calibrate Sensors — AS45x Sensor
Orientations dialog.
If required, reconfigure the sensor orientation and then
recalibrate the sensors.
Check the sensor and cable for damage.
Check VA Boom
Sensor
The system cannot communicate
with the variable angle boom
position sensor, or the sensor is
out of operating range.
Ask your site supervisor to check the configured
orientation of the boom sensor and the reported value of
the VA boom angle in the Calibrate Sensors — AS45x
Sensor Orientations dialog.
If required, reconfigure the sensor orientation and then re-
calibrate the sensors.
Check the sensor and cable for damage.
