TOTAL EQ Function
This function sets up the 4-band equalizer applied to the stereo-output signal.
You set up the equalizer by setting its gain, frequency, and width parameters. The fol-
lowing illustration shows how these parameters operate on the output frequency.

Important
The 4-band equalizer does not operate on assignable output. If you choose to branch the
stereo-output signal to a designated assignable-output pair, however (To AsgnOut pa-
rameter;☞299), then equalization will apply to the output at both locations.
FYI
The equalization you set here applies to all sound directed to the stereo output. If you
have set the A3000 up temporarily in a studio or sound stage, the equalizer offers a
convenient way to make final adjustments to match the acoustics of your environment.
