2. Measure:
9 Float height a
Out of specification → Replace.
NOTE:
9 The float should be resting on the needle
valve, but not compressing it.
9 Take the measurement at the middle of
the float, opposite the side it pivots on.
Float height:
9.5 ~ 10.5 mm (0.37 ~ 0.41 in)
Adjustment steps:
8 Turn the pilot screw until is lightly
seated.
8 Turn the pilot screw out by the speci-
fied number of turns.
Pilot screw:
F15A:
1-1/4 ± 1/2 turns out
F9.9C/FT9.9D:
1-1/2 ± 1/2 turns out
