An individual buon is displayed for each analyte available for
the i‑STAT Alinity system. Those buons greyed out require
acvaon via a customizaon prole or are not available at
this me. Shown with the analyte is the unit of measure. Units
of measure maybe modied via a customizaon prole or on
the instrument via More Opons > Instrument Opons >
Instrument Sengs > Set Units
Touching an acve analyte buon displays a second page of
informaon:
Measurement range - Default is displayed unless a new range
is set via a customizaon prole.
Crical Test - Default of no will be displayed unless modied
via a customizaon prole.
Touching the View Reference Range buon will reveal the
ranges set for this analyte via a customizaon prole.
Note: No ranges are the default.
Touching View Acon (Crical) Ranges will reveal the ranges
set for this analyte via a customizaon prole.
Note: No ranges are the default.

Perform
Unscheduled QC
When liquid QC tesng is not scheduled via a customizaon
prole or if an addional liquid QC tesng event is desired,
this is the tesng pathway. Follow the prompts on the
screen to perform tesng.
Scheduled QC If liquid QC tesng has been set via a customizaon prole,
this is the tesng pathway. Follow the prompts on the
screen to perform tesng.
Perform Cartridge
QC
This feature allows liquid control tesng to release
cartridges, based on lot number, for paent or prociency
tesng. This method of QC tesng must be set up via a
customizaon prole as well as acvaon in the data
management system.
