5 Repairing the Fluorescence Detector
Simple Repairs
On the following pages repairs are described that can be carried out without
opening the main cover.

Flow cell exchange If application requires a different flow cell type or if
defective.
Complete Assembly
A wavelength calibration check should
be performed after replacement.
If the flow cell is removed and inserted,
then a quick calibration check is
performed. If this fails, you must do a
wavelength recalibration, see
“Wavelength Verification and
Calibration" on page 101.
Flow cell flushing If flow cell is contaminated
Leak sensor drying If leak has occurred. Check for leaks.
Leak handling System
replacement
If broken or corroded. Check for leaks.
