Lesson 1 Analog Modules
123
For eight MESAs in
Measure Module
The following table is for the multi-site baseband analog measure.
Video DGT
normal
mode
Differential
input
Per measure unit:
1 input: X+&X- pair
Per Source&Measure module (per four measure units):
Max. 4 inputs simultaneously of 4 inputs:
(Unit5 E+&E- pair), (Unit6 F+&F- pair), (Unit7 G+&G- pair), and (Unit8 H+&H- pair)
Direct
Mode
Video DGT
Single-end-
ed input
Per measure unit:
1 input at a time of 2 inputs: XX+ or XX-
Per Source&Measure module (per four measure units):
Max. 4 inputs simultaneously of 8 inputs:
(Unit5 EE+ or EE-), (Unit6 FF+ or FF-), (Unit7 GG+ or GG-), and (Unit8 HH+ or HH-)
Direct
Mode
Video DGT
Differential
input
Per measure unit:
1 input: XX+&XX- pair
Per Source&Measure module (per four measure units):
Max. 4 inputs simultaneously of 4 inputs:
(Unit5 EE+&EE- pair), (Unit6 FF+&FF- pair), (Unit7 GG+&GG- pair), and (Unit8 HH+&HH- pair)
MCA-PMU
or
V Source
Per measure unit:
1 pin at a time of 4 pins: X+, X-, XX+, or XX-
Per Source&Measure module (per eight units):
Max. 8 pins simultaneously of 32 pins (one pin in each unit)
Two audio digitizers in one unit always operate in the common sampling rate, sampling timing, and
sequencer program.
In each unit, the single-ended and differential inputs can be switched. The two single-ended inputs
X+ and X- in each unit (for example, A+ and A- for unit1) cannot be used simultaneously, and also
the two single-ended inputs XX+ and XX- in each unit cannot be used simultaneously.
All units can be used simultaneously. For each unit, a different core function (for example, Audio
DGT or Video DGT) and a different route (single-ended or differential) in each unit can be set inde-
pendently from other units.
The XX+ pin can be used as the trigger input of the unit (the unit trigger pin) if no core function is
used in the XX+ pin throughout the testflow.
In multi-site testing, if a DUT pin is wired to the audio digitizer, the DUT pin name in each site must
be wired to the same core number of the audio digitizer in all the sites.
