Application Example
In this section, the steps to configure Remote Port Mirroring between Source, Intermediate and Destina-
tion switches are shown.
The following diagram shows an example of a Remote Port Mirroring Configuration.

Configuring Source Switch
Follow the steps given below to configure the Source Switch:
-> vlan 1000
-> vlan 1000 stp disable
-> port mirroring 8 source 1/1
-> port mirroring 8 destination 1/2 rpmir-vlan 1000
Configuring Intermediate Switch
Follow the steps given below to configure all the Intermediate Switches:
-> vlan 1000
-> vlan 1000 stp disable
-> vlan 1000 802.1q 2/1
-> vlan 1000 802.1q 2/2
