Flow Chart 0-2 Gathering Belts Will Not Run
Gathering belts not running (no error code displayed)
SAFETY WARNING:
The following troubleshooting procedure may require that tests be made with the electrical enclosures
open and power turned “ON”. These tests should only be conducted by authorized personnel who are
aware of the electrical and mechanical hazards present.
In normal operation, belts will not begin to run until the three servo motors have
successfully completed the homing sequence, which is indicated by a single beep
and the green “INITIALIZED” light on the control panel is “ON”. Is the light “ON”?
Is belt speed switch on control
panel set to zero (0)?
Does the tyer appear to complete its homing sequence without
displaying any error codes on the seven segment LED?
Set Belt Speed
Switch to
desired speed.
Are Gear belts
missing or
defective?
Set selector switch to “AUTO”, start
the bagger, is voltage present at
wires 40 and 43 on CR3?
Replace missing
or defective belts.
Will belts run with brushes/belts
selector switch in the “ON” position?
“INITIALIZED” light
bulb faulty, replace
bulb, retest.

Inspect wiring for
bagger clutch signal
from bagger.
Replace the
Brush/Belt Relay.
The brush/belt relay CR3 on the FTB must be energized before the gathering
belts or brushes will run. Set the brushes/belts selector switch to “ON”, check
LED D28 next to brush/belt relay on the FTB. Is LED D28 “ON”?
Remove the brush/belt relay
and test it, is it good?
Brushes/belts switch or wiring to it
is bad, replace or repair as
necessary.

Is the belt speed BCD
switch working properly?
Repair wiring to switch or replace switch as needed. If a switch is
not available, a temporary fix can be made by placing jumpers on
the switch terminals of the FTB.
The bagger clutch signal is not getting from the
FTB to the AUX board, replace the AUX board,
retest. If issue persists, replace the FTB.
