ONLY ONE EDGE OF TWISTER HOOK'S HOME PROX IS DETECTED
This error only occurs while the tyer is in its homing sequence. It indicates either of two similar conditions.
E122 indicates that the controller detected the hook's home prox turning “ON”, but it cannot drive the hook
past the prox to turn the prox “OFF”. E123 indicates that the controller detected the hook's home prox
turning “OFF”, but it cannot drive the hook back over the prox to turn the prox “ON”.
SAFETY WARNING:
The following troubleshooting procedure may require that tests be made with the electrical
enclosures open and power turned “ON”. These tests should only be conducted by authorized
personnel who are aware of the electrical and mechanical hazards present.
Clear jam.
The most likely reason for this error is a mechanical obstruction or jam which
is preventing the twister hook from moving as needed. With power turned
“OFF”, turn the twister hook motor thru its complete range of motion (MTR2)
≥ 360°, check for debris, is a jam present?
Initiate another homing sequence, does the motor move
in both directions while searching for home prox?
Does prox light turn “ON” and
“OFF” when activated by
hand?
Does prox LED on FTB
turn “ON” and “OFF”
when activated by hand?
Aux board bad,
replace Aux board.
Yes No
Aux board bad,
replace Aux board.
Check 12VDC and return wiring,
check FTB and prox cable
connections, fix as necessary.
Prox faulty, replace prox.
