open and power turned “ON”. These tests should only be conducted by authorized personnel who are
aware of the electrical and mechanical hazards present.
Ribbon not
dispensing
properly,
causing package
recognition
system to abort
on first package.
Package
recognition
system ribbon
roller is not free
to rotate.
Ribbon dispense
proximity is not
working.
Check that ribbon is
wound correctly on
spool.
Check that ribbon
dispenser is working
smoothly.
Check roller and repair
as necessary.
Check proximity and
connections. Repair as
necessary.
Upper and or
lower bag stop
worn.
Check upper and
lower bag stop for
wear and damage,
replace as necessary.
