5. Remove the Servo Tyer from the shipping crate and slide the unit onto the Servo
Tyer/Brush pivot bracket. Rotate the Servo Tyer toward the location post until the side
of the lower plate is resting on top of the location post. The centerline of the gathering
belts should align with the center of the package. For instance, the belts should be 2
inches above the conveyor for a 4-inch tall package. If necessary, raise or lower the
set collar on the pivot bracket to give the proper height. The top of the Servo Tyers
lower plate should be parallel to the conveyor top. To adjust the angle of the lower
plate, loosen the Servo Tyer location post, and rotate it until the top of the lower plate
is parallel with the top of the conveyor. Tighten the location post securely.
6. Remove the brush assembly from the shipping crate and slide it onto the Servo
Tyer/Brush pivot bracket. See pg. 78 for proper adjustment.
