Preventive Maintenance, cont’d
Semi-Annually
1. Check DIP switches for proper settings (pg.88).
2. Check bag stop for wear, replace as necessary(pg.37).
3. Check brake arms and cam followers on dancer arms (pg. 34).
4. Check bag switch wear, replace as necessary (pg. 28).
5. Check Holder/Shear wear, replace as necessary (pg. 25).
6. Check dancer arm (bushing wears out causing arm to rub frame plate).
Yearly
1. Check the twister hook assembly for wear, replace as necessary.
2. Check the shuttle bar bearing block for wear, replace as necessary.
3. Check the shuttle bar bushing and holder shear for wear, replace as necessary.
4. Check “V” belt for wear, replace as necessary.
5. Check front covers (upper and lower excessive shine will cause holes in the bags),
replace as necessary.
6. Check drive shaft bearings for excessive wear, replace as necessary.
24 Month
1. Check motor assemblies for wear or damage, replace as necessary.
2. Check all motor drive belts for wear and damage, replace as necessary.
3. Check needle for wear and damage, replace as necessary.
