Proximity Sensor Adjustment
The Servo Tyer has five proximity sensors; three are used to locate the relative position
of the needle, holder shear, and twister hook. The fourth and fifth sensors are used to
measure the amount of ribbon dispensed, and to detect ribbon drop. All five sensors are
small 8 mm diameter inductive proximity sensors. Each sensor should be adjusted so it
is 0.030 - 0.050 inch from its target.
