The fields that can be configured are described below:
Parameter Description
Password Encryption State
Select this option to enable or disable the encryption of the password
before stored in the configuration file.
Click the Apply button to accept the changes made.
Login Method
This window is used to configure the login method for each management interface that this Switch
supports.
To view the following window, click Management > Login Method, as shown below:

The Login Method section will only be available when Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting
(AAA) feature is disabled. The fields that can be configured for Login Method settings are described
below:
Parameter Description
Login Method After clicking the Edit button this parameter can be configured. Select
the login method for the specified application here. Options to choose
from are No Login, Login and Login Local. No Login, as the name
implies, requires no login authentication to access the specified
application. Login will require the user to at least enter a password
when trying to access the application specified. Login Local requires
the user to enter a username and a password to access the specified
application.
