To telnet to another device (Figure 4-8):

Lock CONFIGURATION Mode
FTOS allows multiple users to make configurations at the same time. You can lock CONFIGURATION
mode so that only one user can be in CONFIGURATION mode at any time (Figure 4-9).
Task Command Syntax Command Mode
Telnet to the stack-unit.You do not need to configure the management
port on the stack-unit to be able to telnet to it.
telnet-peer-stack-unit
EXEC Privilege
Telnet to a device with an IPv4 address. If you do not enter an IP address,
FTOS enters a Telnet dialog that prompts you for one.
Enter an IPv4 address in dotted decimal format (A.B.C.D)
telnet [ip-address]
