Go to Main Menu, and click or tap the ‘Maintenance’ button. Click or tap the ‘Hard cleaning’ button in the
Cleaning section to initiate the procedure. You will need a syringe (10ml) to dose cleaning liquid into the
analyzer’s measuring chambers. The process is described below.
20.4.2 Long, smeared population
A long, smeared population with this appearance shows that a key
part of the measurement process is not operating as expected.
This could be the TCU, the reagents or the sample mixing. Possible
root causes are:
 The two lyse reagents are interchanged
 Check tube connections or container connections
