Smontaggio pignone
catena
Rimuovere il coperchio pignone (13)
svitando le viti (14).
Allentare la catena (Sez. D 4).
Inserire una marcia bassa e svitare le
due viti (10) sulla piastrina ferma-
pignone (11).
Rimuovere la piastrina (11) dall’albero
secondario cambio.
Sfilare il pignone motore (12) con
catena (9) dall’albero secondario
cambio e poi scarrucolare la catena
dal pignone stesso.
Rimontaggio pignone
catena
Verificare che la calettatura dell’albero
secondario e quella del pignone
risultino in perfette condizioni.
Installare la catena (9) sul pignone
(12).
Inserire il pignone sull’albero
secondario cambio (B), come
rappresentato in figura, e spingerlo
oltre la scanalatura (A).
Inserire il piastrino di fermo (11)
sull’albero secondario cambio (B) e
ruotarlo all’interno della scanalatura
(A) fino a fare corrispondere i fori del
piastrino (11) con i fori filettati del
pignone (12): orientare il piastrino di
fermo con lo spigolo arrotondato
verso il pignone.
Applicare frenafiletti sulla filettatura
delle viti (10).
Innestare la prima marcia.
Bloccare le viti (10) alla coppia di
serraggio prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Eseguire il tensionamento della
catena (Sez. D 4).
Posizionare il coperchio pignone (13)
serrando le viti (14) alla coppia
prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Removing the chain
sprocket
Unscrew the screws (14) and take off
the sprocket cover (13).
Slacken the chain (Sect. D 4).
Engage a low gear and unscrew the
two screws (10) on the sprocket
retaining plate (11).
Remove the plate (11) from the
gearbox secondary shaft.
Slide the front sprocket (12) with the
chain (9) off gearbox secondary shaft
and take the chain off the sprocket.
Refitting the chain

Check that the splines of secondary
shaft and sprocket are in perfect
condition.
Wrap the chain (9) around the
sprocket (12).
Fit the sprocket on the gearbox
secondary shaft (B) as shown in the
figure and push it past the shaft spline
(A).
Insert the retaining plate (11) on the
gearbox secondary shaft (B) and
rotate it inside the recess (A) so that
the plate holes (11) match the
threaded holes in the sprocket (12);
position the retaining plate with the
rounded corner facing the sprocket.
Apply threadlocker to the thread of
the screws (10).
Engage first gear.
Tighten the screws (10) to the
specified torque (Sect. C 3).
Adjust chain tension as described in
Section D 4.
Position the sprocket cover (13) and
tighten the screws (14) to the
specified torque (Sect. C 3).
