Rimuovere gli steli forcella (Sez. G 2).
Note
Tutti i componenti che sono
fissati sulla testa e sulla base di
sterzo, compreso i cavi elettrici e le
trasmissioni flessibili, possono
rimanere montati a condizione che
non vadano a interferire con le
operazioni da eseguire.
Per rimuovere la testa di sterzo
allentare la vite (1) di bloccaggio del
perno di sterzo.
Con l’attrezzo cod. 88713.1058
allentare la ghiera (3) e svitarla dal
perno di sterzo.
Sfilare la testa di sterzo (2).
Con una comune chiave per ghiera
svitare la ghiera (4) dal perno di
sterzo.
Sfilare dal telaio la rondella speciale
(7) e il cuscinetto (5) superiore.
Supportare il telaio e con mazzuolo
battere sul perno per sfilarlo
unitamente alla base di sterzo.
Sul perno rimarrà posizionato il
cuscinetto inferiore (6) e la rosetta (8).
Utilizzare un estrattore universale (del
tipo raffigurato) per rimuovere detti
elementi dal perno di sterzo, facendo
molta attenzione a non rovinare la
sede.
Importante
I cuscinetti (5) e (6) rimossi non
vanno più rimontati.
Disassembling the
steering tube
components
Remove the fork legs (Sect. G 2).
Note
All components installed to
steering head and bottom yoke,
including electrical cables and
Bowden cables, may be left in place,
as long as they do not impair the
disassembly procedure.
To remove the steering head, loosen
screw (1) retaining the steering shaft.
Loosen the ring nut (3) with the tool
no. 88713.1058 and undo from the
steering shaft.
Lift the steering head (2).
Using a standard pin wrench, loosen
ring nut (4) from steering shaft.
Remove the special washer (7) and
upper bearing (5) from the frame.
Support the frame and tap with a
mallet to knock out steering tube and
bottom yoke.
The bottom bearing (6) and washer (8)
will remain stuck to the shaft.
Use a universal puller (see figure) to
remove these parts from the steering
shaft. Care must be taken not to
damage the seat during removal.
Caution
Bearings (5) and (6) should not
be reused after removal.
