Smontaggio serbatoio
carburante
Rimuovere la sella (Sez. E 3).
Rimuovere la cinghia (10) dal pomello
(11) sul serbatoio.
Sollevare il serbatoio e svuotarlo.
Sfilare verso l’alto il tubo (28) di
scarico lasciandolo attaccato ai
raccordi del tubo sfiato e di drenaggio
(26) del serbatoio.
Sulla parete inferiore del serbatoio è
presente una targhetta che riporta la
disposizione dei tubi sui raccordi.
Scollegare il connettore (C) della
sonda livello carburante e della
pompa dal cablaggio principale.
Allentare le fascette sul tubo di
mandata (M) e sul tubo di ritorno (R).
Sfilare le tubazioni dal serbatoio e
lasciarle collegate al corpo farfallato
(Sez. L 6).
Rimuovere la copiglia (23) e la rosetta
(22) dall’estremità del perno (18).
Sfilare il perno (18), recuperando le
boccole (19).
Rimuovere il serbatoio completo dal
veicolo
Removing the fuel tank
Remove the seat (Sect. E 3).
Remove the belt (10) from knob (11)
on the tank.
Lift and drain the fuel tank.
Withdraw the drain hose (28) in an
upward motion. Leave hose hanging
on the couplings of the fuel tank
breather and drain (26) hoses.
A label is affixed to the bottom of the
tank showing how the hoses are to
be connected to the matching
couplings.
Detach the connector (C) of fuel
sensor and fuel pump from the main
wiring harness.
Slacken the clips on the delivery (M)
and return hoses (R).
Withdraw the hoses from the fuel
tank and leave them hanging on the
throttle body (Sect. L 6).
Remove split ring (23) and washer
(22) from pin (18) end.
Slide out the pin (18) and collect the
bushes (19).
Remove the complete fuel tank from
the vehicle
