Smontaggio cappellotti
laterali
Note
Per maggiore chiarezza, nelle
immagini è rappresentata la testa
rimossa dal blocco motore.
Svitare le viti (1) di fissaggio e
rimuovere il cappellotto in gomma (2)
sulla testa verticale (10).
Eseguire la stessa operazione per la
testa orizzontale (11).
Note
Durante la rimozione dei
cappellotti fare attenzione alle
linguette (15) posizionate sugli alberi
distribuzione (16) e (22).
Svitare le viti (21) di fissaggio
cappellotto (20) di supporto albero
distribuzione (16).
Sfilare il cappellotto (20) di supporto
albero distribuzione dalla testa e
relativa guarnizione (17).
Scomposizione cappellotto
Rimuovere l’anello elastico (18) di
ritegno cuscinetto e, utilizzando un
opportuno estrattore, rimuovere il
cuscinetto (19) di supporto albero
distribuzione dal cappellotto.
Importante
I cuscinetti rimossi non devono
essere più rimontati.
Verificare le condizioni del cuscinetto
(19) e dell’anello elastico (18) ed
eventualmente sostituirli prima di
procedere al rimontaggio. Verificare
l’integrità della guarnizione (17).

Removing the side caps
Note
For clarity purposes, the figures
show the head removed from the
engine block.
Unscrew the retaining screws (1) and
remove the rubber cap (2) from the
vertical head (10).
Repeat procedure for the horizontal
head (11).
Note
Be careful not to displace the
keys (15) in the camshafts (16) and
(22) when removing the rubber caps.
Unscrew the retaining screws (21) of
the cover (20) supporting camshaft
(16).
Take off the cam cover (20) and its
gasket (17).
Disassembling the cam cover
Remove the circlip (18) that holds the
bearing in place. Remove the
camshaft bearing (19) from the cam
cover using a suitable puller.
Caution
Do not reuse the bearings after
removal.
Check bearing (19) and circlip (18) and
replace as required. Check the gasket
(17).
