Optionally, you can do the following:
a.
Press F1 Raise Machine to display the shim values equivalent to raising the
machine. This causes all shim values to be positive.
b. Press F2 Median to display shim values equivalent to making the smallest moves.
This causes the shim values to be centered about an average. Shim values will be
a mix of positive and negative values.
c. Press F3 Lower Machine to display shim values equivalent to lowering the machine.
This causes shim values to be negative.
d. Press F6 Switch Move Type to select Angular Move or Offset Move.
Angular Move displays the angular alignment condition of the machine. Offset
Move displays the offset alignment condition of the machine.
e. Press F8 Data Detail to view the tolerance plots.
Tolerance plots are graphical representations of the alignment condition of the
machine. See Section 7.8.1 for more information on the tolerance plots.
3. From the Angular Move screen, press Enter and review the offset alignment
condition of the machine. Move the machine as shown on the analyzer screen.
Typically, the offset adjustment is specified in terms of two machine moves. The
machine moves are indicated by two arrows on the analyzer. The arrows show the
displacement of the flange towards two specified bolts by specific amounts.
