3.2.1 Pedelec nameplate
Your FLYER Pedelec has a nameplate on
the frame that contains all the relevant data
for your e-bike.

CE marking
By means of the CE marking, the manu-
facturer declares that the pedelec com-
plies with the applicable requirements.

Maximum continuous rated power
The maximum continuous rated power is
the maximum output for over 30 minutes
at the output shaft of the electric motor.

Switch-off speed
The switch-off speed (in km/h) is the
speed at which the motor assistance
of the pedelec is switched off.

Permissible total weight
The permissible total weight is the
sum of the weight of the ready-to-ride
pedelec and the maximum load (e-bike
+ rider + luggage).

Tare weight
The weight specification refers to the
weight of the (ready-to-ride) pedelec at
the time of sale. Any additional acces-
sories must be added to this weight.

Year of manufacture
The year of manufacture is the year in
which the pedelec is manufactured.

Model generation
The model generation describes the
sequence of produced generations of
an e-bike model. A model generation
is considered to be new when modifi-
cations have been made to the frame.
Changes in specifications or colors are
not considered a new model generation.
